Established in 1966 in Worcestershire, the company began manufacturing Warm Air Heating equipment under the Combat brand. In 1999 the company was acquired by Roberts-Gordon as the parent company. In the same year, Combat joined forces with prominent Radiant Heater manufacturer Blackheat, in order to offer a wider range of products to their customers. In 2015 Combat reverted back to the Combat brand. Combat HVAC Limited is based in the heart of the manufacturing industry in Wednesbury, a location that was chosen due to it's easy access to the motorway network, which allows Combat to provide faster lead times. The site in Wednesbury is a large modern manufacturing and distribution facility, which is the manufacturing base for the Combat range of Warm Air Heating equipment. This facility allows Combat to distribute warm air heaters and Blackheat Radiant Heaters throughout the U.K. and Europe.
